BMW cafe racer, no trade for a BSA single

My 1970 R75/5 soon after getting it home

a few months later i wanted to trade my BMW project

for a BSA 441 or 350cc enduro star project

sadly

No takers

Back to my period /5 cafe-racer

The engine as I found it

slight rust/pitting on the cylinder

My 1978 R100RS (gold below)

Found in a shed south of Butler PA

$1000.00 in boxes and big parts

/5 Needs a new seat (Solo?)

I bought the toaster from a fellow in florida

When stamps were .04 cents I used to bother both triumph and BSA

Never wrote for a harley pamphlet

I used to watch brit-bikes all wooded up

covered with mud exiting the woods

still want a BSA 441

what I want my /5 to look like

I have the bags, the bike but want to build it like they did in the sixties

These kids did not have extra cash to throw at their cafe racers

they were in a strict budget, as I have set out

as the dog lives so will my /5

home made work and rattle-can paint

the R75/5 parts seperated out of the boxes, first time in many years

One can see that most of the parts are present, I need a few parts but I have a few years to get it running

What kind of a motobike do I make out of this 1970 R75/5

Do I restore it or keep it original

Is a cafe racer present in those old bones

We were looking at a Duplex when I saw a grimey motorcycle through the window
I offered the house owner $200.00 for same and was turned down. A month later she called and said that the duplex was sold and they needed to get the BMW out of the garage

I was going to sell the parts from this motorcycle but when I got the bike and all of the parts home I discovered that I had an almost complete 1970 SWB R75/5 in my possession.

Now what do I do?
